The heart of Art InDeed’s mission is guided artistic adventures of free self-expression to inspire spontaneous, in-the-moment creativity for children, teens, adults and seniors of all backgrounds. We focus on the process of creating, rather than the end product, to allow opportunities for personal growth, self-exploration and discovery.
Art InDeed’s Vision:
Art InDeed is an open space where creativity flows and abounds. Creative journeys are guided and participants are invited to delight in the magic and mystery of spontaneous art-making and creative process. Art InDeed believes that creating a non-judgmental space where participants can freely express and explore their thoughts, feelings, and follow their intuition: creativity will flourish and thrive, individuals, families, communities and the world will be a healthier, happier and more peaceful place.
Art InDeed’s Guiding Principles:
Art InDeed is founded by Danah Beaulieu, an Intuitive Artist. The principles and beliefs are based on her vision of creative process, creativity, spontaneous art-making and well-being. These drive her life and practice as an Artist and Expressive Arts Practitioner.
Art InDeed believes that creating a non-judgmental space where participants can freely express and explore their thoughts, feelings, and follow their intuition: creativity will flourish and thrive, individuals, families, communities and the world will be a healthier, happier and more peaceful place.
Art InDeed believes that :
• creativity is a way to practice trusting intuition.
• art-making is a fun and healthy choice!
• everything is about remembering who you are: whole and healthy and wise! Creativity is an adventure into that remembering.
• creativity is a mind, body, emotional and spiritual practice.
• spontaneous art-making and creativity is a process that brings us insights and allows us to look through a window into a different reality of self. This new reality can guide us to greater wellness and balance and happiness.
• through the art-making process we can access our own inner knowing and learn from the revealing symbols, colours and images.
• free self-expression is not only self-discovery, it is self-affirming.
• playfulness facilitates and inspired spontaneous, in-the-moment creativity which results in authentic expression.
• Having more than one medium to create with is ideal…the environment Art InDeed creates and holds, plus the media that we offer that is key…..this meets the necessity of what needs to be created, come to life, be recovered or explored.
Art InDeed Provides:
• holistic arts-based “playshops”/creative adventures/workshops/classes/groups/one-on-one sessions.
• art programs for the purpose of increasing well-being.
• original and fun “processes” like ColourPLAY and Constellation Drawings developed by Danah Beaulieu
• arts-based experiences and spontaneous art-making for the development of self-expression, self-worth and self-esteem.
• opportunities for social contact and participation.
• fun, exploration and discovery.
• opportunities to inspire relaxation, sense of purpose, a sense of meaning and improved quality of life.
• a creative way to help develop coping skills, deal with loss, reduce anxiety and articulate feeling.
• opportunity to invest time and energy to create art.
• opportunities for healing and renewal in the artistic process.
• workshops to increase your art skills, relieve creative blocks.
• experiences of being inspired and feeling successful.
• discovery of meaning in your life through symbols and images.
• sessions that foster feeling free; this helps revive your mind, body, emotions and spirit.
