Message from the Artist:

I love to create. As an artist I see and feel life. I translate life and my feelings in the language of colour, form, symbol, image, imagination and pattern. Someone has described me as an artist who is "an ecclectic interpreter of life."

Sometimes I create with intention, or I create based on an inspiration and the piece will emerge accordingly...other times I create intuitively. When I create intuitively, I am creating spontaneously and in-the-moment without a plan. It is about being open and closed, about love and fear and life and death and everything in between! When I create this way I find the process and end creation sensitive, revealing and satisfying.

Some of my paintings below are intuitive paintings and others are created with a plan/design or intent in mind. I will put the titles and some descriptions but not too much as I would like for you to feel, enjoy and experience the art in your own way! I hope my art will speak to you in some way and above all I wish for you to discover, explore and enjoy!

xgrid-1.caStripmall Religion or Sacrifice – collage and acrylic paint on paper – This is one of the art pieces that was chosen to be a part of the Sam Roberts Band’s CD ‘Love at the End of the World.’ This art piece is the visual translation of the song “Stripmall Religion.”

Summer“Summer” – acrylic paint on paper – This piece I created last spring.  This piece makes me happy when I look at it.  I painted it using some complimentary colours to make it look very vibrant and bright.
