Danah Beaulieu and Art InDeed!
I am an expressive/therapeutic art practitioner, professional facilitator, an educator. Danah is also a published and award-winning artist. Through my expressive arts practice and business: Art InDeed, I explore the power of the expressive arts for healing, personal growth, fun and self-exploration with children, adults and seniors.
To name a few, currently and in the past, I have offered healing through art/creativity sessions, courses and workshops at Hospice of Windsor, Maryvale Adolescent and Child Services, House of Sophrosyne Rehabilitation Centre, Teen Health Centre, AIDS Committee of Windsor and Essex County, Alzheimer’s Society, and St.Clair College.
I am a graduate of the University of Windsor and a graduate of the Expressive and Healing Arts Post-Graduate Program of the Haliburton School of Arts. As a graduate of the University of Windsor in Multicultural Studies, I went on to work locally and internationally as a program designer and public educator for the not-for-profit sector in education, community development, cross-cultural understanding and health promotion.
I also offer private art sessions for the public. My sessions use art for the purpose of increasing well-being. They are fun, uplifting and refreshing! These private sessions and courses are designed for everyone from the seasoned artist to the novice/beginner!
Not only are the art sessions offered for fun but also are offered as an additional therapeutic modal or stand-alone process for anyone interested in the healing power of art and creativity.
Looking forward to meeting you!
