Danah Beaulieu and Art InDeed!

Danah Beaulieu is an Intuitive Artist, Expressive Arts Practitioner and Educator.
Danah is also a published and award-winning artist. Through her expressive arts practice and business, Art InDeed, Danah explores the power of the expressive arts for healing, personal growth, fun and self-exploration with children, adults and seniors.
To name a few, currently and in the past, Danah has offered healing through art/creativity sessions, courses and workshops at Hospice of Windsor, Maryvale Adolescent and Child Services, House of Sophrosyne Rehabilitation Centre, Teen Health Centre, AIDS Committee of Windsor and Essex County, Alzheimer’s Society, and St.Clair College.
Download My ResumeDanah is a graduate of the University of Windsor and a graduate of the Expressive and Healing Arts Post-Graduate Program of the Haliburton School of Arts. As a graduate of the University of Windsor in Multicultural Studies, Danah went on to work locally and internationally as a program designer and public educator for the not-for-profit sector in education, community development, cross-cultural understanding and health promotion.
Danah also offers private art sessions for the public. Her sessions use art for the purpose of increasing well-being. They are fun, uplifting and refreshing! These private sessions and courses are designed for everyone from the seasoned artist to the novice/beginner!
Not only are the art sessions offered for fun but also are offered as an additional therapeutic modal or stand-alone process for anyone interested in the healing power of art and creativity.

Brittany Hooley
Brittany is a certified Social Worker. She is currently working on her Masters of Social Work at the University of Windsor. Brittany has provided expressive and recreational art programming for children at Glengarda Children’s Services for the past 3 years. She is combining her social work, artistic skills and counseling skills at Art InDeed where she has planned and implemented the summer recreational art program at Maryvale and expressive arts programs for Homeschool children. She has also worked with kids in crisis – using the art-making process as a healing practice with Art InDeed. She is currently providing the Expressive Arts programming with Art Indeed at The Alzhiemer’s Society.
Anne Marie Fortner
Anne Marie Fortner is a certified Expressive Art Therapy Practitioner. Anne Marie is the President of the Pelee Island Art Works Board of Directors. She coordinates an annual Artist Studio Tour with local Pelee Island artists. She has also volunteered at Parkwood Hospital in London, Mosaic Art Gallery in Thunder Bay. Through Art-Indeed Anne Marie has facilitated workshops at the Alzheimer’s Society, various long term care facilities, House of Sophrosyne Rehabilitation Centre, Health & Wellness Days for Greenshield and the Centre for Seniors and various other workshops since 2008. On her own initiative Anne Marie has worked in London with Bereavement groups, hosted 5-week workshop series in Leamington, as well as on Pelee Island, and currently works with Windsor Women Working for Immigrant Woman. Anne Marie has also worked one-on-one with children and adults. She has also facilitated Expressive Art Therapy workshops at Total Recall, an Annual women’s retreat held on Pelee Island. She is the new owner of Total Recall and is currently working on coordinating this as well as, continuing to run her ecotourism business called Explore Pelee, which is approaching its fourth tourism season.Anne Marie’s passion for creativity and helping others shines through her work. Anne Marie enjoys stretching the limits, painting out of the lines, manifesting dreams and living life large! When facilitating workshops she feels completely herself. Helping others break through mental and emotional blocks through the healing arts are extremely fulfilling!
Marcie Roselle
Marcie has a BFA in Visual Arts and a minor in psychology. She is an Early Childhood Educator and is currently receiving her
teaching certification at the primary/junior level. Marcie has gained experience in working with children with exceptionalities through her years of volunteer experience with WETRA (Windsor-Essex Therapeutic Riding Association), Windsor Regional Children’s Centre’s summer ‘Healing Arts Program’, as well as The John McGivney Centre where she has worked as an ECE. Marcie has combined her passion for art, psychology and teaching to help facilitate healing art services through Art InDeed. She has worked two summers with ‘Therapy Express’, a drama,music and art therapy program for preschool-adult ages, as well as Maryvale’s summer recreational program.
Iola Durante
Iola Durante has a passion for the arts and creative expression. A mature mother of two and long-time care-giver she enjoys working with children and seniors. Iola shares her personal gifts of compassion and creative ideas. Iola has completed many courses in sewing, marcame, egguery, paper tole, drapery, and furniture re-upholstery. She has worked in the Framing business for 10 years. Iola was a volunteer for school-aged children offering art projects to enhance reading and literacy competence and building motor skills. She also provided the activities for recreation and fun. Iola currently provides one-on-one recreational and healing art sessions for seniors and children with Art InDeed. Also through Art InDeed, she is currently facilitating the Creative Art for the Heart sessions at the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County. Fostering creativity and encouraging personal self-expression in her gentle way makes Iola’s sessions soothing, fun and successful. Everyone feels accomplished and fulfilled after her session.
